Ms. Maria Milla

After earning a scholarship to Bible College here in the USA, Maria graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. “Prince of Peace is where I have found spiritual and professional fulfillment. It is a joy to work with my staff and the parents. Together we work as a team.”

Mrs. Mary Perera

Mrs Mary received her teaching certificate at North Orange County Regional. She has been teaching since 2006. She is a passionate teacher who takes the time to ensure each student reaches their full potential and is ready to enter Kindergarten.

Ms. Berenice Ortega

Ms. Berenice Ortega came to Prince of Peace from the Anaheim Family YMCA Children’s Station where she started her career in the childcare field. 
She has seventeen years of experience, and enjoys every minute working with the little ones. 
She continues to take Early Childhood Education classes to receive her AA degree.

Maria Vargas

My name is Maria Vargas, I am an enthusiastic, caring teacher who believes that all children can learn and thrive in a learning environment that is stimulating, comforting, and appropriate to children’s abilities.

I am working at Garden Grove Unified School District and Anaheim Elementary School District as well. My passion is support to my community through teaching children.

Before teaching at Los Angeles Unified School District, I was a volunteer teacher at an Elementary School for three months. I am so glad to be part of the pre-school staff at Prince of Peace Lutheran School because I profess Christianity.

Apolline Mudakemwa

My name is Apolline Mudakemwa. I am married, I have seven children, one daughter and six boys. I completed an Early Childhood Education course and earned a certificate from North Orange County Continuing Education). I have been working at Prince of Peace since October 2021 as a Preschool Teacher.

I enjoy getting to know and watching the children discover, succeed, and learn new skills as well as building a friendship with every child in my class, they truly became part of my heart.
